These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI Compare (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AI Compare is an independent directory and comparison engine for AI software. We publish editorial reviews, comparisons, rankings and category guides to help you evaluate AI tools. Information on the Service is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional, legal, financial or purchasing advice.

2. Editorial independence and affiliate links

Some outbound links to vendors are affiliate links and may earn us a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships, paid placements or sponsorships never influence our editorial rankings, ratings or which tools we cover. Where a listing is paid or sponsored, we mark it clearly. 3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy or republish significant portions of the Service without written permission.
• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems.
• Submit content that is false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, unlawful or that you do not have the right to submit.
• Use the Service to send spam, malware or any other harmful material.

4. User submissions

When you submit a tool, comment, review or other content, you grant AI Compare a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, edit and distribute that content as part of the Service. You represent that you have the rights to submit it. We may edit, refuse or remove any submission at our discretion.

5. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing, features and other tool information accurate and up to date, but the AI software market changes quickly. Information on the Service may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm details (especially pricing and contract terms) on the vendor's own website before purchasing.

6. Third-party websites and tools

The Service links to third-party websites and tools that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, pricing, privacy practices or availability of those third parties. Your interactions with any vendor are solely between you and that vendor.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, design, logos, code and database structure, is owned by AI Compare or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Tool names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Compare and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service is limited to one hundred (100) US dollars.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AI Compare harmless from any claim, demand or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AI Compare is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
